Little Island NYC

Little Island NYC is a public park located in New York, New York. This 40-employee organization is funded by the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation. The park is situated at Pier 55 with entrances at 13th and 14th Streets and is part of Hudson River Park. Little Island offers a unique blend of art, nature, and community programming. Design elements include a striking sculptural structure of 132 tulip-shaped elements rising above the Hudson River, ranging in height from 15 to 62 feet. Visitors can explore rolling hills, walking paths, and open lawns, all while enjoying panoramic views of New York City. The park features a 687-seat amphitheater, a smaller 200-seat stage, and an open plaza. These versatile spaces host a diverse range of programming, including theater, dance, music, food, beverage experiences, educational programs, and community events. The park's design by Heatherwick Studio and MNLA aims to create a truly special urban oasis.
