Literacy Nassau

Literacy Nassau is a non-profit organization located in Freeport, New York, dedicated to providing literacy services to adults in the community. Founded in 1968, the organization has grown to employ seven individuals and generates annual revenue of $2.5 million. Literacy Nassau offers a range of services to equip adults with reading, writing, and English speaking skills. These services include personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions led by trained volunteers, as well as small group instruction and ESL/citizenship classes taught by certified teachers.
