Who is LiFT Scholars Program
The Leading Informatics for Tomorrow (LiFT) Scholars Program is a program offered at the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI. The LiFT Scholars Program offers scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need. The program aims to increase the number of qualified IT professionals by preparing students for entry into the informatics and IT workforce or for further graduate studies. LiFT supports students pursuing both bachelor's and associate degrees in informatics and information technology. Since its inception in 2017, the program has assisted over 90 students from both IUPUI and Ivy Tech Community College. LiFT Scholars Program is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive IT workforce. They strive to support 60 bachelor's degree graduates and 80 associate’s degree graduates through their scholarship program.
