LifeLine Animal Project

LifeLine Animal Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2002, the organization employs 172 people. LifeLine Animal Project works to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable dogs and cats in metro Atlanta shelters. They operate a private shelter, focusing on animals who have been victims of abuse or neglect, and run the LifeLine Spay & Neuter Clinics, providing low or no-cost spay and neuter services. Additionally, they manage the Catlanta program, a volunteer-run trap-neuter-return program for feral and community cats. LifeLine also hosts community pet wellness days, offering free vaccinations and resources to pet owners. In 2013, LifeLine was awarded contracts to manage both Fulton County Animal Services and DeKalb County Animal Services. Since then, they have significantly reduced euthanasia rates at both facilities. LifeLine also facilitates adoptions, rescues, and reunions of lost pets.
