Who is Levy Park Conservancy
Levy Park Conservancy is a private, non-profit organization based in Houston, Texas. It is made up of five employees and is an affiliate of the Upper Kirby District Foundation. The Conservancy is responsible for the upkeep, management, and programming of Levy Park, a public park owned by the City of Houston. Levy Park offers a variety of amenities for visitors, including activity areas, a dog park, a rain garden, a children's park, and beautifully landscaped grounds. The park hosts free, year-round programming in wellness, the arts, education, and recreation. The park was designed by the Office of James Burnett and Natalye Appel and Associates Architects. It was transformed into a world-class park in 2017, thanks to a partnership between the Upper Kirby Redevelopment Authority and the Upper Kirby District Foundation.
