Latino Education Advancement Foundation

The Latino Education Advancement Foundation (LEAF) is a non-profit organization based in San Jose, California. With approximately 30 employees, LEAF is dedicated to improving educational outcomes for low-income students in East San Jose. LEAF offers a variety of programs designed to support academic success, parental involvement, and economic mobility for families facing systemic barriers. These include the LEAF Center for College Success, LEAF Centro Educativo Para Padres, Career Exploration & Discovery, and the Eastside Education Initiative. LEAF focuses on serving the unique needs of socioeconomically disadvantaged Latino/Hispanic students in East San Jose. Their initiatives aim to increase college enrollment and persistence among these students while advocating for systemic reform within the education system to benefit all low-income students.
