Latin American Leadership Society at Berkeley

The Latin American Leadership Society, or LLS, is a student-run organization based in Berkeley, California. The organization has 24 employees. LLS aims to connect UC Berkeley students with Latin American backgrounds and those interested in the region. They achieve this through social events, career development programs, and charitable endeavors. The organization is comprised of international students from Latin America, US Nationals of Latin American descent, and non-Latin students passionate about the region. What distinguishes LLS is its members' desire to return to their home countries and contribute to Latin American development. The organization aspires to achieve widespread recognition in Latin America through the leadership of its alumni and current members, envisioning itself as the first chapter in a nationwide movement to highlight Latin America.
