Lar de Idosos

Lar de Idosos is a non-profit organization based in Almancil. Founded in 1992, the organization serves 17 employees. Lar de Idosos provides a variety of social and cultural services including a daycare facility for seniors, a nursing home, home health services, support integrated home visits, a day care center for children, after-school activity centers, didactic, cultural and sporting activities designed to promote social inclusion. Recognized in 1993 as a socially beneficial institution by the Portuguese governmental authority, La de Idosos focuses on serving groups of all ages within the Almancil parish with a commitment to social, economic, cultural, and sporting contributions.
