Lamar Community College

Lamar Community College is a comprehensive community college located in Lamar, Colorado. Established in 1937, the college serves a primary service area encompassing Baca, Cheyenne, Kiowa, and Prowers counties in Colorado, as well as students from across the United States and internationally. With a staff of 54 employees, Lamar Community College is dedicated to enriching lives through learning and providing educational opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds. The college offers a wide range of academic programs, including transfer degrees, career and technical education courses, certificates, and associate degrees. Lamar Community College also provides developmental coursework, pre-college services, and bridge courses to assist students in completing their bachelor's degrees.
