Lake Sunapee Protective Assn

Lake Sunapee Protective Association (LSPA) is a non-profit educational organization based in Sunapee, New Hampshire. Founded in 1898, LSPA is driven by a commitment to preserving and enhancing the unique environment of the Lake Sunapee region. With a team of 42 employees, LSPA boasts over 1,000 family and business members who contribute financially and through volunteer efforts. LSPA's mission is achieved through a variety of programs focused on water quality, watershed science, and education. These include scientific research, water quality sampling and laboratory analysis, prevention and control of invasive aquatic species, and educational programs for both children and adults. LSPA's quarterly publication, "The Beacon," keeps members informed about the organization's activities and initiatives. LSPA's dedication to environmental stewardship is evident in its year-round efforts to maintain the quality of Lake Sunapee and its watershed.
