Knowledge for All

Knowledge for All is a collaborative project based out of the University of Prince Edward Island. Focused on developing accessible scholarly resources, the team consists of 5 to 9 employees. The project's primary goal is to create the first free, open-source tool for discovering, sharing, and accessing scholarly journal literature. This tool will be available to institutions, universities, libraries, archives, researchers, academics, students, and the general public. It will enable users to search across all academic disciplines and freely access a comprehensive collection of scholarly journal content. Knowledge for All distinguishes itself through its collaborative development model. Academic and library institutions worldwide contribute funding, time, and expertise to build and maintain the platform. This open-source approach ensures that the software and data are freely available, empowering institutions and individuals with control over their content and technology.
