KID Inc

KID Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, focused on serving at-risk children and families. Established in 1979, KID has grown from a shelter for abused and neglected children to a multi-faceted agency with two campuses in Broward County and a foster care office in Palm Beach County. KID offers a comprehensive range of services designed to prevent child abuse, strengthen families, and provide treatment for abused and neglected children. Their services include foster care recruitment, training, and support, kinship support, early childhood education and preschool, aftercare and summer camp, adoption support, reunification services, family strengthening, maternal health, a family counseling center, and pediatric dental services in partnership with Nova Southeastern University.
