KFOK Community Radio

KFOK Community Radio is a small, community-based radio station located in Georgetown, California. Operated by the Georgetown Divide Community Broadcast Committee, the station employs three people. KFOK broadcasts at 95.1 FM and features a diverse range of programming, including locally produced content, exceeding the FCC's minimum requirement of 36 hours per week. The station was established in response to a need for local community radio in the area, with the American River Folk Society applying for and securing a construction permit from the Federal Communication Commission in 2000.
