Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association

Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association is a non-profit organization based in Kennebunk, Maine. Established over a century ago, KBIA is dedicated to providing recreational and enrichment programming for children of all ages. With 23 employees, the organization serves over 350 member families. KBIA offers a range of classes, open-swim sessions, and family activities, including sailing, kayaking, and movie nights. Membership is open to the public and provides access to these programs, as well as free admission to twice-daily open-swim sessions, Wednesday night beachside barbecues, and weekly Movie Nights. The organization's mission, established in 1910, focuses on providing a positive influence on the Kennebunk Beach and Kennebunk-area community while educating children about waterfront safety and the preservation of the area.
