Johnston Community School District

The Johnston Community School District (JCSD) is a large public school district serving the community of Johnston, Iowa. With approximately 7,500 students enrolled from PreK through 12th grade, JCSD is one of the largest school districts in Iowa. Its facilities include an early childhood learning center, five elementary schools, two middle schools, a high school, a district office, and a transportation/building and grounds facility. JCSD offers a comprehensive educational experience for students of all ages.
