JJ Family of Farms, formerly operating as a subsidiary of Benson Hill, was a farming operation headquartered in The Acreage, Florida. Founded in 1983, the company employed 77 individuals and generated approximately $500,000 in annual revenue. JJ Family of Farms specialized in cultivating bell peppers, green beans, cucumbers, squash, and eggplant. Their extensive network spanned over 14,000 acres of farmland across multiple locations, including packing and cooling facilities in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Arizona, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. The company operated under a vertically integrated farm-to-fork model, emphasizing expertise in farming practices and maintaining full supply chain visibility. JJ Family of Farms ceased operations in 2023 following its sale to IMG.
