Jersey Battered Womens Service

Jersey Battered Women's Service is a private, non-profit organization based in Morris County, New Jersey. Founded in 1976, the organization has been dedicated to providing hope and safety to victims of domestic violence and their families for over four decades. With a staff of 59 employees, JBWS operates with a mission to prevent domestic violence through a multi-faceted approach. These services include a 24-hour helpline, a safe house, transitional living programs, counseling, children's services, batterers' intervention, and vocational counseling. Additionally, JBWS serves as the lead partner agency for the Morris Family Justice Center, a collaborative resource providing one-stop access to various support services.
