JDO Foundation

The JDO Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Littleton, Colorado. The foundation employs 18 people and generates $2.5 million in annual revenue. JDO Foundation facilitates global collaboration opportunities for 3rd-8th grade classrooms worldwide through technology. Their flagship program, the JDO Global Partnership Program, connects classrooms in the United States with partner classrooms in 27 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Partner classes use technology and live sharing software to explore learning topics together throughout the school year. JDO provides technology to participating classrooms at a ratio of one device per three students. The foundation supports its program through ongoing support, collaboration resources, and professional development for teachers. Participation in the program is free, but teachers must apply.
