Invent@NMU is a student-powered idea incubator based at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. The organization is comprised of seven employees and generates over $10,000 in annual revenue. Invent@NMU offers a variety of innovative and entrepreneurial support services to students, individual inventors, start-ups, and existing companies. Their services range from market analysis and concept refinement to prototyping, testing, and marketing. Their five-step process provides individualized attention to every detail, breaking down the entrepreneurial process into manageable steps.
