The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, often referred to as the IAM, the Machinists Union, or the IAMAW, is a large professional association based in Charlotte, North Carolina. With over 742,000 members across 1,172 local lodges, the organization advocates for and represents workers in various industries, including aerospace. Victory Lodge Local 1725, chartered in 1943, is one such local lodge affiliated with the IAM. Local 1725 represents approximately 2,200 active members employed by airlines such as Us Airways, United, and PSA.
