Intermountain Intelligence Industry and Security Consortium I3SC

Intermountain Intelligence, Industry, and Security Consortium (I3SC) is a university-industry partnership based in Orem, Utah, comprised of six employees. The consortium was formed to advance and secure Utah's emerging technology sector by training students to anticipate both opportunities and security challenges in the technology field. I3SC develops a multifaceted academic pipeline program for students at both Utah State University and Utah Valley University. The program offers cross-disciplinary credentials in areas such as secure computing, artificial intelligence, security analytics, cybersecurity, anticipatory intelligence, and security studies. Graduates are prepared to work in Utah's tech sector as innovators who can navigate the complexities of potential security challenges. I3SC was awarded a $5,013,900 grant from the Deep Technology Talent Initiative (DTTI) to fund its academic pipeline program. The consortium is led by UVU’s Center for National Security Studies and USU’s Center for Anticipatory Intelligence.
