Inter Faculty Organization

Inter Faculty Organization (IFO) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The organization employs 16 individuals and generates an annual revenue of $2.5 million. IFO serves as the official representative for faculty at all seven Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) schools. These schools include Bemidji State University, Metropolitan State University, Minnesota State University-Mankato, Minnesota State University-Moorhead, St. Cloud State University, Southwest Minnesota State University, and Winona State University. IFO appoints faculty members to serve on MnSCU committees, advocates for faculty concerns through the Meet and Confer process, and works with Faculty Associations on each campus to ensure faculty representation in local governance. IFO focuses on several key areas of advocacy, including contract negotiations and enforcement, equity issues, monitoring the MnSCU budget, academic affairs, government relations, and retirement matters.
