Initiative Foundation

Initiative Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Little Falls, Minnesota. With a staff of 45 employees, the foundation focuses its efforts on supporting the economic and social well-being of Central Minnesota. The Initiative Foundation offers a variety of programs, including loans, grants, and scholarships, to help strengthen communities and individuals throughout the region. The foundation primarily serves 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, governments, and schools located within the 14 counties and 163 hometowns that comprise Central Minnesota. Guided by a strategic plan and specific focus areas, the foundation awards approximately $1 million in grants annually to organizations that serve the residents of Central Minnesota. Since its founding in 1986, the Initiative Foundation has invested millions of dollars in the region to promote growth and development.
