InfraGard Minnesota

InfraGard Minnesota is a private-sector partnership dedicated to information sharing and analysis related to cybersecurity. Based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, the organization is composed of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants who collaborate with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). InfraGard Minnesota serves as a platform for the FBI and the private sector to exchange information concerning terrorism, intelligence, criminal, and security matters. The organization facilitates the sharing of knowledge and best practices among its diverse membership to prevent hostile acts against the United States. Established as an FBI program in 1996, InfraGard Minnesota operates under the guidance of an FBI Special Agent Coordinator who works closely with the FBI’s Cyber Division at Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
