HumanBeaver Coexistence Fund

HumanBeaver Coexistence Fund (HBCF) is a non-profit organization based in the United States. With a staff of four employees, HBCF works to promote understanding and positive interactions between humans and beavers. HBCF offers a cost-share incentive program designed to assist landowners and managers in implementing nonlethal methods to manage human-beaver conflicts. The program supports two key areas: tree protection, where landowners receive funding to purchase materials that deter beaver tree damage, and flow device installation, which provides financial assistance for implementing flow devices to mitigate flooding caused by beaver dams. The organization is dedicated to finding sustainable solutions that benefit both human communities and beaver populations.
