Hoya Developers

Hoya Developers is a software development club based in Washington, District of Columbia. Comprised of eight employees, the organization is affiliated with Georgetown University and focuses on providing undergraduate students with hands-on experience in software development. Hoya Developers offers students the opportunity to participate in project teams that design, build, and deploy software applications. Through this experience, students gain valuable technical skills and build a portfolio of projects to showcase their abilities to potential employers. The club also introduces students to industry-standard tools and frameworks, complementing their classroom learning. The club distinguishes itself through its mentorship program, providing each member with one-on-one guidance throughout the development process. This personalized support helps students progress from novice coders to confident developers, preparing them for competitive technical internships. In addition to student development, Hoya Developers offers pro-bono technical services to businesses, non-profits, and startups. Clients can engage the club for projects ranging from website development and mobile applications to microservices. Each project is managed by a dedicated project manager who ensures close communication and collaboration with the client.
