, The Housing Rights Center (HRC) is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, California. With approximately 40 employees, the organization is focused on combating housing discrimination. Since 1968, HRC has grown to become the nation's largest nonprofit dedicated to this mission. HRC provides a range of services to residents in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, including housing discrimination investigations, fair housing enforcement assistance, outreach, and public education. In addition, HRC offers landlord-tenant counseling services. To ensure accessibility for all, the organization provides assistance in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Mandarin, Armenian, Russian, Cantonese, and American Sign Language (ASL), as well as through a TTY system for individuals with hearing/speech impairments.
