Hoosier Trails Council Boy Scouts of America

The Hoosier Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America is a non-profit organization based in Bloomington, Indiana. With a small team of 3 employees, the Council focuses on providing character development and values-based leadership training to youth in south-central Indiana. The Council's programs benefit over 6,000 youth annually through a variety of activities, including summer camp, advancement programs, and mentorship opportunities. These programs take place at two camp properties: Maumee Scout Reservation and Camp Louis Ernst, with the majority of activities occurring at Maumee Scout Reservation. The Hoosier Trails Council serves youth in 18 counties across south-central Indiana, divided into four geographic districts: Hoosier Hills, Lenni Lenape, Wapehani, and White River Trails. The Council's mission is to guide young people through proven programs that foster leadership skills and set them on a path to successful lives.
