The Hero's Journey® Foundation (HJF), a small non-profit organization based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to personal awakening and transformation. Founded on the work of Joseph Campbell and the hero archetype, HJF believes in the power of a mythic journey to help individuals discover their truest selves. HJF offers Hero’s Journey® Intensives, immersive experiences designed to cultivate personal growth. These intensives take place in beautiful natural settings and utilize a variety of techniques to facilitate self-discovery, including poetry, music, movement, and mindfulness practices. Participants work within small ally groups, fostering a strong sense of connection and support. Through its unique approach, HJF helps individuals clarify their purpose, passion, and place in the world. The foundation's deepening processes encourage participants to explore their unique purpose and the roles they play within their communities.
