Herndon-Reston FISH, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Herndon, Virginia. Founded in 1969, it is a volunteer-driven, non-sectarian group dedicated to providing assistance to residents facing emergencies and short-term needs. Herndon-Reston FISH operates an Answering and Referral Service funded by Fairfax County. This service connects callers with resources for both short-term and long-term assistance from public and private agencies. Volunteers also provide transportation services to Herndon and Reston residents for medical appointments. Recently, FISH launched a Financial Workshop to equip families with valuable financial literacy skills.
