Hawaii Bicycling League

The Hawaii Bicycling League (HBL) is a non-profit organization based in Urban Honolulu, Hawaii. Established in 1975, HBL is the largest cycling organization in Hawaii and boasts eight employees. HBL is dedicated to promoting bicycling for health, recreation, and transportation. They offer a variety of programs and services, including the nationally recognized BikeEd Hawaii, a keiki cycling education program that has taught over 180,000 fourth graders on Oahu since 1989. Additionally, HBL organizes two premier bicycling events: the Honolulu Century Ride and the Haleiwa Metric Century Ride. The Honolulu Century Ride, Hawaii's oldest and largest bicycling event, draws up to 4,000 participants annually from Hawaii, Japan, and the Mainland. The event follows a non-competitive "Audax" style, encouraging riders of all ages and abilities to participate. The Haleiwa Metric Century Ride is a safe, scenic, and non-competitive event ideal for families and friends, featuring a route along the beautiful beaches and communities of Oahu's North Shore.
