Hands for Hope

Hands for Hope is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California. With 10 to 19 employees, the organization is dedicated to empowering youth and their families through a variety of programs. The organization focuses on broadening horizons, developing talents, and promoting self-esteem in children aged 8 to 21. They offer free after-school programming throughout the academic year and a five-week Academic Summer Camp starting in July. Hands for Hope also provides computer and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, as well as a quarterly Parent Resource Fair. Hands for Hope takes a holistic approach to youth development, addressing academic, physical, and creative needs to prepare students to become responsible and valued members of their communities. The organization emphasizes teamwork, positive attitudes, and new opportunities and experiences to foster well-rounded individuals.
