Hadley

Hadley is a non-profit organization located in Winnetka, Illinois. Founded in 1920, Hadley is the largest provider of distance education globally for individuals aged 14 and older who are blind or visually impaired. Employing 28 individuals, Hadley serves approximately 10,000 students annually, reaching across all 50 states and over 100 countries. Hadley offers over 100 courses across five distinct program areas: High School, Adult Continuing Education, Family Education, Professional Studies, and Low Vision Focus. These courses encompass a wide range of subjects, including independent living, employment skills, access technology, academic studies, and leisure activities. Hadley's curriculum is delivered in various formats, catering to diverse learning needs. These formats include large print, braille, audio, and online learning.
