GTL Americas

GTL Americas is a company based in Little Rock, Arkansas, that specializes in the development and construction of gas-to-liquids (GTL) facilities. As a single-employee firm, GTL Americas is currently focused on a major project in the state. The company is developing a 33,000 barrel per day gas-to-liquids facility near Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This facility will utilize Fischer-Tropsch (FT) technology to convert pipeline natural gas into clean liquid transportation fuels and specialty chemicals. The plant is expected to be the largest single industrial project in Arkansas history, with a construction cost estimated at $3.5 billion. GTL Americas anticipates a significant economic impact, employing over 2,500 workers during construction and eventually staffing the permanent facility with 250 employees. This project will leverage the benefits of readily available local gas feedstock and established pipeline infrastructure, facilitating supply from mid-continent gas producers. Clean fuels produced at the facility will be distributed via truck, rail, and marine barge to serve both regional and national, as well as international, markets.
