Good Neighbor Society

Good Neighbor Society, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in Manchester, Iowa, is a small organization with three employees. Founded in 1963, the organization provides a comprehensive range of senior care services, including independent living, assisted living, post-hospital rehabilitation, memory care, long-term care, and hospice care, all within a single campus. The Good Neighbor Society caters to seniors at all stages of life, offering various housing options and care levels to meet their evolving needs. Good Neighbor Home, the original building, opened in 1963 and has expanded to accommodate 113 residents. The Meadows, established in 2000, provides assisted living apartments, while Marietta's Place, inaugurated in 2011, specializes in memory care for individuals with early to moderate dementia.
