Gods Closet

God's Closet is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free clothing to children in need within the Redding, California community. Operating as a 501 (1)(3) ministry, God's Closet is a small organization with a staff of three employees. The organization's mission centers around collecting and distributing gently used and new children's clothing, ranging from newborn to size 18. Individuals, families, and businesses are invited to donate clothing at any time throughout the year. Quarterly, God's Closet hosts an event where parents and guardians can "shop" for donated clothing at a minimal $1 admission fee. This unique model fosters a strong sense of community support, with donations fueling the program and the program providing direct assistance to families. God's Closet is an Adventist Community Services ministry, affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
