Global One to One

Global One to One is a non-profit organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The organization employs 5 to 9 people and generates an annual revenue of $2.5 million. Global One to One is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding and communication among students worldwide. Through their unique one-to-one model, they offer three programs: Connect One to One (letter writing), Engage One to One (cultural exchanges), and Innovate One to One. These programs are designed for middle school, high school, and college students, enabling them to develop crucial intercultural communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. The organization's history is marked by several significant milestones. In 2007, Project PeacePal, a letter exchange program, was established in Albuquerque, connecting students from New Mexico and Togo, West Africa. Over the years, PeacePal expanded its reach, connecting nearly 14,000 students in 25 countries. In 2015, PeacePal evolved into Global One to One, incorporating the three aforementioned programs. Since then, Global One to One has facilitated over 18,000 student connections globally through their international letter exchange program and has hosted six cultural exchanges in partnership with organizations like Open World, FHI 360, and World Learning.
