Global Formula Racing is a United States-based international cooperation existing as a partnership between the BA Racing Team from Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg-Ravensburg (DHBW-R) in Germany and the Beaver Racing Team from Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvallis, Oregon. Founded in 2009, this unique venture brings together the resources and expertise of two prominent universities. The company focuses on designing, manufacturing, and testing highly competitive vehicles for Formula Student competitions. This collaborative effort involves simultaneous design, manufacturing, and testing activities conducted at both universities, spanning over 9 time zones and a distance of 5,400 miles. A notable aspect of Global Formula Racing is its distinctive supply chain management system, considered unique within the Formula Student community.
