Girls Learn International

Girls Learn International (GLI) is a non-profit organization based in Beverly Hills, California. It is a program of the Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) and employs 10 people. GLI focuses on educating and empowering middle and high school students to advocate for human rights, gender equity, and access to education. They offer a student club framework and educational materials that teach students about human rights, particularly the challenges girls and gender-expansive youth face in achieving their full rights both domestically and internationally. GLI's flagship resource, the GLI Guidebook, is a unique study-to-action guide designed for peer-to-peer human rights learning. Through its programs, GLI aims to build a network of informed advocates and future leaders and activists for social change. They boast over 205 active school-based Chapters across 28 U.S. states and 14 countries, training and mobilizing more than 5,000 young people aged 10-18.
