Girls Health Period

Girls Health Period is a non-profit organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 2018, the organization is dedicated to addressing period poverty and its impact on girls' education. With a team of three employees, Girls Health Period has generated $2.5 million in revenue. The organization provides menstrual care products such as name brand pads with wings, tampons, and underwear to girls and young women, from size 6 to 24. They partner with middle schools, high schools, group homes, universities, and local businesses across the Cincinnati Tri-State area to distribute these products and create safe spaces for open conversations about menstrual health and hygiene. Girls Health Period strives to eliminate girls' absenteeism from school due to their menstrual cycles. They achieve this through fundraising efforts, donations, and personal collections.
