Georgia OBGyn Society

The Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society is a nonprofit professional association based in Johns Creek, Georgia. Founded in 1951, the Society is comprised of over 950 OBGyn physicians throughout the state and operates as a 501(c)6 nonprofit organization. Its mission is driven by a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting entirely of OBGyn physician members. The Georgia OBGyn Society provides a variety of services and activities aimed at supporting its members and advancing the field of obstetrics and gynecology. These include advocacy efforts on behalf of both members and women's health, as well as continuing medical education programs. A key focus of the Society is promoting high standards of practice within the field. This is achieved through encouragement and promotion of continuing postgraduate education for its members.
