Gen Mark A Welsh Leader Development Program

The Gen Mark A Welsh Leader Development Program is a small program located in Air Force Academy, Colorado. With a staff of three employees, the program is dedicated to educating and developing world-class commanders. They strive to create Leaders of Character (LoC) who exhibit honorable conduct, inspire others, and enhance team performance. The program's central focus is on equipping Air Officer Commandants (AOCs) with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively develop future leaders. The three-year program begins with a one-year graduate degree program culminating in a Master of Arts in Leadership and Counseling.
