Gatorloop

Gatorloop is a student-run organization based in Gainesville, Florida, with a team of 21 employees. As the University of Florida's entry in the SpaceX Hyperloop competition, Gatorloop is dedicated to developing innovative transportation solutions for the future. The organization focuses on designing and building a high-speed transport pod for the Hyperloop system envisioned by Elon Musk. This system aims to revolutionize transportation with speeds up to 750 mph, significantly reducing travel times. Gatorloop's pod has successfully progressed through a rigorous selection process, making it one of only 22 teams globally chosen to participate in the final round of the competition. They will have the opportunity to test their pod on SpaceX's one-mile test track at the company's headquarters in Hawthorne, California.
