FRONT Exhibition Company

FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art is a non-profit organization based in Cleveland, Ohio. With a team of five employees, FRONT is dedicated to showcasing contemporary art through a free, public exhibition held every three years across Cleveland, Akron, and Oberlin. FRONT International is a triennial art exhibition that presents world-class contemporary art projects and programs in partnership with various museums and institutions in Northeast Ohio. These include The Cleveland Museum of Art, the Allen Memorial Art Museum, Akron Art Museum, moCa Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University, and Cleveland Public Library. The organization aims to position Northeast Ohio as a prominent cultural hub on a global scale. The second edition of FRONT International, titled 'Oh, Gods of Dust and Rainbows,' was showcased from July 16 through October 2, 2022. The inaugural edition in 2018, 'An American City,' attracted over 90,000 visitors from more than 25 countries and contributed $31 million in new economic activity to the region.
