Frita Batidos

Frita Batidos is a small, chef-driven restaurant located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. With a staff of four, the restaurant focuses on creating a unique dining experience inspired by Cuban culture. The menu features Fritas, a specialty burger traditionally made with spicy chorizo, served with shoestring fries on a soft egg bun, and Batidos, tropical milkshakes made with fresh fruit, crushed ice, and sweetened milk, with or without rum. Frita Batidos emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farmers and purveyors whenever possible. The restaurant is committed to the Slow Food Movement, preparing almost everything from scratch in their kitchen. Founder and Chef, Eve Aronoff Fernandez, drew inspiration from her childhood experiences in Miami and her passions for using high-quality ingredients and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
