Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission

Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission, or Fresno EOC, is a private, non-profit organization based in Fresno, California. Established in 1965, the organization is recognized as the largest non-profit Community Action Agency in the United States. Fresno EOC is governed by a 24-member Board of Commissioners and employs over 1,200 full- and part-time staff members. Fresno EOC provides a wide range of services aimed at helping individuals and families become self-sufficient. Their services encompass various aspects of human services and economic development, including pre-school education, vocational training, counseling for youth and drug abuse, recreation programs, senior citizen services, energy conservation education, crisis intervention, preventive healthcare, prenatal nutrition education, and job placement services.
