Fort Worth Library

The Fort Worth Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the information needs of its community. Located in Fort Worth, Texas, the library employs 63 staff members. The Fort Worth Library assists patrons of all ages with a wide range of research and informational needs. Librarians provide quick reference assistance, in-depth research support, and personalized reading recommendations. They utilize a variety of resources, including print materials, microform, CD-ROMs, online databases, and the internet, to fulfill patron requests. In addition to traditional reference services, the Fort Worth Library offers one-on-one and group training sessions on library resources and technology. The library also develops and curates programming for adults and maintains assigned library collections. The library houses an art gallery and its staff perform curatorial duties for exhibitions.
