Forecast Foundation is a non-profit organization based in the Mojave Desert of California. Established in 2023 by artist-aviator Farida Amar, the foundation is dedicated to supporting a community of visionaries who engage in dialogues with Earth and Sky. With a team of four employees, Forecast Foundation operates on a $50 million revenue stream. Forecast Foundation provides a unique base-station for "artist-aviators," offering a space for the exchange of ideas, collaborative projects, and access to resources. The foundation prioritizes sustainable living practices and aims to create a safe and inspiring environment for its residents. The base-station residence is surrounded by apartments, studios, and a private runway, situated on 200 acres of land. The foundation emphasizes multisensory listening as a core principle of its work, believing it is essential for adapting to change and fostering innovation. It strives to build reciprocal relationships with both Earth and Sky, recognizing the interconnectedness of all things.
