Food Well Alliance

Food Well Alliance is a collaborative network based in Atlanta, Georgia. This organization is comprised of 18 employees and generates over $10,000 in annual revenue. Food Well Alliance works to build thriving community gardens and urban farms across metro Atlanta. The organization focuses on providing resources and support to local growers to connect and build healthier communities. They support over 120 community gardens and 35 urban farms in Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Clayton counties. Food Well Alliance achieves its goals through two main program areas. The Resource Center provides centralized resources for community gardens and urban farms, offering support in areas such as knowledge sharing through trainings and workshops, volunteer and labor support, compost access, tool and equipment assistance, and capacity building grants. They also engage in Policy & Planning, working with local government leaders and community members to integrate urban agriculture into city planning processes.
