Florida Studio Theatre Inc. (FST) is a non-profit organization based in Sarasota, Florida. With a team of 120 employees, FST has become one of the largest subscription theatres in the United States, attracting over 230,000 live attendees annually. FST operates five theatres in Downtown Sarasota, offering a range of productions across six core programs: Mainstage, Cabaret, Stage III, Children’s Theatre, Education, and New Play Development. These intimate and engaging theatre spaces showcase high-quality, professional performances that aim to entertain, challenge, and reflect the contemporary world. Founded in 1973, Florida Studio Theatre is dedicated to making the arts accessible and affordable for everyone.
